So I took his pretty simple but potentially explosively trendy idea and replicated it in Illustrator. You use Facebook non-stop and you know it. You "like" things all day, like Rick-Rolling and YouTube clips of Octopuses fighting Sharks. Now it can be yours by going here.

My Art Gets Some Local Love

Awhile back I was asked to redesign the banner for the700level and recently Fox News picked up on a controversial Vick story, thereby showcasing the site on TV. They show a zoom out of the page, but then pan across the banner, which is pretty cool. NO! You're cool.

Do you know who Shepherd Fairley is? (no relation) Have you ever heard of Andre the Giant? Have you ever seen the motion picture, "THEY LIVE" ? Do you find street art compelling? Does it make you feel trendy and hip? Where do babies come from? Why is the sky blue? Why is water wet? Do you feel like clicking after the JUMP for more?

This image and the image above are part of a street art spoof exhibition I'm planning (not really). There are more of these "plays" on OBEY(s) to come in the near future. This one in particular shows my recent infatuation with Joe Paterno.

This is the original image by Fairley that caused a tizzy in the street art community. You could find it on subways, bike seats, windows, mail boxes, lamp posts, homeless people, Philadelphia Weekly dispenser thingers, etc... and you name it.
